Accounting & Bookkeeping Services
Accountancy Made Simple from only £89/month
Your accounting is one fixed monthly fee. If you’d also like us to handle your day-to-day bookkeeping, recording transactions, reconciling accounts, keeping everything current, that’s available as an additional service.

Everything Needed for Bookkeeping Support
Bookkeeping and accounting cover different things. Accounting keeps you compliant: your tax return, your annual accounts, your HMRC deadlines. Bookkeeping is the everyday recording of what comes in and goes out. Add it to your package, and the same accountant handles both.
Specialist Bookkeeping and Accounting Support
Our bookkeeping and accounting services are provided by accountants who are technically qualified, industry accredited, best-in-class accountancy with decades of experience, not a data entry team.
You’ll get your own dedicated accountant for your core accounting, not a shared inbox or a rotating support team.
Add bookkeeping to your package and the same accountant takes care of that too, so nothing gets lost moving between the two. Support is unlimited, and quarterly check-ins mean they’re looking at your numbers throughout the year.

Included in your core accounting:
Cloud accounting software included
VAT registration and returns
Annual accounts, prepared and filed
Corporation Tax or Self Assessment
Your own dedicated accountant
Support switching from another provider
Available as an additional bookkeeping service:
Recording and reconciling every transaction
Invoicing and expense tracking
Real-time access to your accounts online
Who are these services for?
At Caroola, we provide fixed-fee accounting for businesses of every structure: sole traders, limited companies, partnerships and LLPs. If you’d also rather hand your bookkeeping over than do it yourself, that’s available as an add-on for any of them.
We’re also highly experienced with contractors and the self-employed, so if that’s how your business operates, we can give tailored guidance.

Bookkeeping and Accounting: What's the Difference?
Bookkeeping and accounting get used interchangeably, but they’re not the same job, and they’re not priced the same way. Bookkeeping is the day-to-day recording of what comes in and goes out. Accounting is what happens with those records afterwards: your tax return, your annual accounts, and advice on what the numbers actually mean.
Accounting is included in your fixed monthly fee. Bookkeeping is available on top, if you’d rather we handled it than do it yourself.
Bookkeeping:
Recording transactions, reconciling your bank accounts, and keeping invoices and receipts organised.
Accounting:
Turning those records into your VAT returns, annual accounts, Corporation Tax or Self Assessment.
Reconciliation:
Matching every transaction against your bank statement, so nothing gets missed or counted twice.
Real-time reporting:
Your income, expenses and cash flow, visible online whenever you need them, not just at year end.

FAQs
- What's the Difference Between a Bookkeeper and an Accountant?
A bookkeeper records your day-to-day transactions and keeps your accounts reconciled. An accountant uses those records to file your tax return, prepare your annual accounts, and advise on accounting and tax regulations. Caroola provides both, through the same dedicated accountant, with accounting included in your fixed fee and bookkeeping available as an add-on.
- How Much Does Bookkeeping and Accounting Cost?
Core accounting starts at £28 + VAT a month for sole traders and £89 + VAT a month for limited companies, with partnerships and LLPs quoted individually. Bookkeeping is available on top as an additional service, priced separately depending on what you need.
- Why Outsource Bookkeeping Instead of Doing It Yourself?
It takes a decent chunk of time each month, and mistakes in your books carry through to your VAT return and your tax return. Outsourcing means it’s done by someone whose job it is to get it right, and you get that time back.
- What Does Your Bookkeeping Service Actually Involve?
Send us your bank statements, invoices and receipts, and we record and reconcile every transaction. You get real-time access to your accounts online, so you’re never waiting until year end to know where you stand.
- Can I Switch to Caroola Part-Way Through the Year?
Yes. No need to wait for year end. We manage the handover with your current provider.
- Are There Any Additional Costs?
Bookkeeping is the main one. It’s not included in your core accounting fee, but it’s available as an additional service if you’d rather not do it yourself. Anything else beyond your core package is agreed with you upfront too.
