Accounting & Payroll Services
Accountancy Made Simple from only £89/month
Payroll is included for one employee as standard, with additional employees added to your package as you grow. Caroola handles your accounting and your payroll together, for one fixed monthly fee.

Everything Needed for Business Payroll
Send us your starter and leaver details, and we run your payroll every month. Payslips, PAYE, and RTI submissions to HMRC, all handled on schedule, whether you employ one person or several.
Specialist Payroll and Accounting Support
Our payroll and accounting services are provided by accountants who are technically qualified, industry accredited, best-in-class accountancy with decades of experience, not a call centre.
You’ll get your own dedicated accountant for your core accounting and payroll, not a shared inbox or a rotating support team.
Support is unlimited, and quarterly check-ins mean your accountant is looking at your numbers throughout the year, not just once and then gone until the next deadline.

- Cloud accounting software included
- VAT registration and returns
- Payroll for one employee, run every month
- Payslips, P60s and P45s handled for you

Who are these services for?
At Caroola, we provide fixed-fee accounting and payroll for businesses of every structure: sole traders, limited companies, partnerships and LLPs. Whether you employ one person or a growing team, we can help.
We’re also highly experienced with contractors and the self-employed, so if that’s how your business operates, we can give tailored guidance.

Running Payroll Yourself, or Outsourcing It
Payroll has to be right every time. The wrong tax code, a missed deadline, or an incorrect payslip creates real problems, both for your employees and for you with HMRC. Doing it yourself is possible, but it takes ongoing attention every single month.
Outsourcing means someone whose job it is to get it right handles the calculations, the submissions and the paperwork, and tells you if something needs your attention.
PAYE:
Registering your scheme with HMRC and calculating what's due each pay period.
RTI Submissions:
Reporting pay and deductions to HMRC on or before each payday, every month.
Payslips:
Processed and provided for you to issue to your employees on time, every time.
Starters and leavers:
Setting up new employees and issuing P45s when someone leaves.
Year-end reporting:
P60s issued to your for every employee, and your annual RTI submission filed.

FAQs
- How Much Does Payroll Cost for a Small Business?
Payroll for one employee is included in Caroola’s core accounting packages, from £28 + VAT a month for sole traders and £89 + VAT a month for limited companies. Additional employees are added for an extra fee per employee.
- Is Payroll Included in My Accounting Package?
Yes, for one employee. If you take on more staff, additional employees are added to your payroll for an additional fee, agreed with you upfront.
- Why Outsource Payroll Instead of Running It Yourself?
Payroll has to be right every time, and mistakes create problems with HMRC and with your employees. Outsourcing means it’s handled by someone whose job it is to get the calculations, deadlines and paperwork right.
- What Does Your Payroll Service Actually Involve?
PAYE registration, monthly RTI submissions to HMRC, payslips issued to your employees, and P60s and P45s handled as people join or leave. Your accountant manages the deadlines, so you don’t have to track them yourself.
- Can I Switch to Caroola Part-Way Through the Year?
Yes. No need to wait for year end. We manage the handover with your current provider.
- Are There Any Additional Costs?
Payroll for additional employees is the main one, priced per employee beyond the first. Anything else beyond your core package is agreed with you upfront too.
